Let's make a TARDIS wave throughout LJ. When you see this entry, post a picture of the show to your own journal, if you like.

Doctor Who and the Silurians - it has the World's Worst Incidental Music Ever but totally makes up for it with the jaw-dropping appearance of T-shirt!Doctor X-D I've literally seen a lady go from "this is stupid" to "OMG! OMG! Rewind that! Woah!" at this part - hahaha!

I beg to differ. The Sea Devils incidental music is worse... like someone who smoked up and then decided to play Nintendo music on a kazoo while chewing on a dead squirrel.

but it's only marginally worse. Marginally.

Meh.

SLAP IN THE EARPLUGS AND ENJOY THE EYE CANDY!

I think they had a contract with the same preschool band to do any episode involving sea devils. I love your description - right up there with the observation I read elsewhere that partway through Silurians the kazoo player apparently accidentally inhales his kazoo and tries to keep valiantly playing anyway. The random bonks of wood-blocks and triangles sure sounds like preschoolers to me...

One of my dreams is for someone to please, please re-score those two eps, the acting and plots are really pretty good in both but the music is painful.

The worst part? The DVDs have EXTENSIVE extras relating to the music. Whole mini-documentaries devoted to it. Also, the option to LISTEN TO THE UNINTERRUPTED SOUNDTRACK. I think you can even play it as an Mp3. But WHYYY?!!??! What kind of masochist would you need to be?!?!
