Sorry I missed posting yesterday - I had an insanely busy day, no LOLs ready to go, and I'd hoped to finish writing the missing scene for the Winner By a Nose Affair. Which I didn't.

To make up for it, here's a double treat: a picspam of Illyacaps I saved just because they were pretty (piccies ganked from Framecaplib and Evasion Pattern Eight), plus a caption contest. I've put down my best effort at a caption for each shot - mostly pretty lame; now it's y'all's turn!

"How do I love thee? Let me count the ways." (I told you it was lame... I can't think properly while looking at this shot. Can you?)

"Angels and ministers of grace, defend us!" (Hamlet, Act I, Scene 4. Also Bones in Star Trek IV, which is how I know where it's from - Spock provided the citation.)

Hangin rown - ur doin it wet (I would have LOLed this one already, but I just can't crop in close enough without having the caption distract from the picture! ::gurgles::)

(Darnit, who does he look like in this one?! Somebody besides Illya, that's for sure.)

(I went a bit Project Strigas Affair crazy recently... I was actually looking for a LOL base, caption: "Adorkable - ur doin it rite", but I didn't quite find one. Suggestions? I did, however, find an embarras de richesse of "creepy!mysterious and all the cooler for it - ur so doin it rite" shots, and I'm afraid I saved them all. *sheepish grin*)

(This is from the bit where he asks if they should get rid of Colonel Klink the warmongering foreign-power guy permanently. I just can't get over how adorably hopeful he looks. And shiny. Also, hands!)

MS Picture It 7. It's a pretty basic photo-editing program, but it does what I'm generally trying to do - cropping and captioning. (And if I want, I can also insert a blue penguin, if the light levels match.)

What program do you use?

A blue penguin? That sounds perhaps a trifle limited in scope, but you never know.

I actually have the full-featured Photoshop -- a now rather old version (6), but still absurdly overpowered for basic screwing around. It's a bit like owning a high-performance racecar and just driving it to the store. It does have some good tools for dealing with lousy lighting levels, though, which really helps with the screen caps. I can also break out different parts of an image, rework the framing, and recombine them, as long as I don't get too ambitious.

Amazingly enough, RDA turns out to have such regular features that you can flip his face 180 degrees and he doesn't look strange. It should not be possible to get away with that!

There is only one possible answer to that statement. *points to icon* ;-)
