And I have snazzy stuff! Which I am going to link and chatter about because eponymous_rose did for hers and I am nothing if not original, oh yes. ;-)



First is the icon on this post, from the wonderful lindenharp. I needed a proper Rory icon. I have not yet seen it as it ought to be seen, because I'm on a university-lab computer (at half past midnight) that has not realized it ought to compensate for being widescreen. So everything is squished.

Next is A Stray's Day Off by trovia, which is about Wolverine and is hilarious and awesome and... I don't yatter about X-Men much, do I? Another of my hidden fandoms, I guess. Anyway, Logan's my boy. "Darlin', I'm full o' surprises." *snert*

Also I have many holiday good-wishes, the most unique and awesome of which is this from arenee1999. It is Trek: TOS, and it is amazing.

And I have Eleventy!fic by sentientcitizen which is de-aged!Amy and babysitter!Rory - which is about a zillion of my favorite things all rolled into one, and YOU MUST READ IT. :D

And then there is Two fanart from infiniteviking, and Steel icons from lsellersfic (omigosh the blue one!!!), and Wolverine icons from modestroad...

...and then I have Team Four/Sarah/Harry (and Harry Sullivan, Medical Professional, yet) from paranoidangel42.

AND, and this totally deserves the capslock (even if it's so late at night I can't spell capslock anymore) - dbskyler, who is insane and also amazing, actually wrote me TNG!fic that is Q-plus-ensemble with Gilbert & Sullivan thrown in. And the voices are all utterly spot-on and it is HILARIOUS and even if you do not know TNG you MUST READ IT. Because, come on, it is sheer distilled essence of amazingness and also there is GILBERT AND SULLIVAN, for cryin' out loud.

Also people recced me some fics, and everybody should go over to prose_alchemist right now! It is jordannamorgan's fic journal, and she is an awesome writer, especially if you like X-Men or Hogan's Heroes. Also she is going to make me some Legend icons once I get screencaps.

And finally, clocketpatch gave me some Who icons AND a "coupon" for three more icons of my choice! I love icon coupons... now to pick just three ideas I want! ;-)

Holiday hugs, lassie! I'm sorry I didn't get any Macfic into your stocking. I still haven't gotten back into a settled writing routine since the move.

FWIW, I do have a start on a piece of holiday-themed smut-free Mac schmoop.

Yup, finally! :D I tend to tune out of the universe when I hit a certain level of "all-worn-out-can't-rest-yet" (there's a whole year somewhere back there that passed without my noticing it, and lots of last December is the same)... but I appear to be back now. Again. I might even stay on top of things, this time. ;-)

You'll probably end up with more than three actually, because I've just figured out how to download new brush sets and art effects into GIMP and now I'm all excited to use them. :D :D :D

Just noticed this. Thanks for the plug! I'm definitely always happy for another reader. There are exactly two people watching prose_alchemist who aren't on my friendlist, and my current main fandom is especially determined to ignore my existence. :Þ

(Also, just so you know, I don't have any means of doing screencaps myself on my rather decrepit computer.)

(As to screencaps... LOL, I know the feeling. I only got a screencap-capable laptop myself this past spring. However, it should be back from the shop soon - then we'll see!)
